Black Forest Cherry Cupcakes

everyone loves sweets..right? & for any potluck/family or friend party, here's a delicious treat that kids AND adults will adore. They're oober easy to make, low priced, and simple. This is my momma's famous black forest cherry cupcakes :) hope you like it!

Black Forest Cherry Cupcakes

Ingredients:
-  1 package of Betty Crocker's chocolate moist cake mix
-1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
-about 1/2- 1 sticks of butter
- 2 1/2cups of powdered sugar
- 1tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 tsp of milk
-1 can of 'wilderness cherries'

Directions:
1) Take a large bowl, and pour in the package of Betty Crocker's chocolate  moist cake mix, vegetable oil, and water. Mix together with a whisk.
2) Preheat oven to 225
3) take out a muffin tin tray, and put in cupcake paper holders in each muffin compartment.
4) take a medium to large sized spatula, and pour batter mix into each muffin compartment (make sure that it's a little less than halfway full or else it WILL overflow when baking.) Continue doing this throughout ALL compartments of muffin tin
5) when done preheating, place the muffin tin tray into the oven, timing for about 21 minutes. (and when you take the cupcakes out, it IS okay if they seem a little mushy, or not like fully cooked cake mix. Because you want them to come out more as done like brownies & moist rather than a cake.)

6) while the cupcakes are baking, get out a large bowl. You will also need a hand mixer with up to 2 whisks'
7)put in 1/2 stick of butter, 2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar, 1tsp of vanilla extract, and 2tsp of milk in the bowl. On the hand mixer, plug it in and power it on the low speed setting and mix the ingredients in a large bowl.
8) add another 1/2 stick of butter if the frosting is clumpy still, so it softens it out, OR add a little bit more milk.
9) once the cupcakes are done, take them out of the oven, take them out of the muffin compartments, and lay them out on a open spaced countertop& let the cupcakes cool for about 5-10 minutes.
10) repeat steps 2-5. when the second batch is baking, start icing the cupcakes that are now done cooling down.
11) take the can of 'wilderness cherries' and open it with a can opener and put about 2-3 cherries on per cupcake.
12) continue to do what you did with the first batch with the rest of the batches until the chocolate cupcake batter is gone.
enjoy!
*Finished Product! :)
