Cinnamon and apple oatmeal

On weekend mornings like these, you usually want something to eat that doesn't take forever to cook, but thats the worth the time. For me, it's my homemade oatmeal recipe. Now, I have NEVER been a oatmeal fan.. at all. But this recipe is soooo yummy. Also, it's pretty low cal &low fat for breakfast.  AND, you can just warm it up in the microwave for about 2 minutes the next day for breakfast on the go!So here's my recipe for Cinnamon&Apple Oatmeal:

Cinnamon& Apple Oatmeal
Ingredients:
6 cups of water
2 cups of "Bob's Red Mill - Whole grain steel cuts oats"
1/2-1 apple
3-4 tbsp of cinnamon
2 tbsp of chopped almonds
1 tbsp of aguava nectar (or stevia)

Instructions:
1. Pour 6 cups of water into a pan and put stove on medium to high heat, until water is boiling.
2. Once water boils, turn stove heat to low, and add the 2 cups of whole grain steel cut oats mix
3. Cover pan with a lid, and let the oatmeal cook for about 20minutes.
4.While oats cook, take the apple and dice it into small, bite sized, cubed pieces.
5. When oats are done cooking, take lid off, and scoop out about 1/4 to 2/4 cup for a serving and put in a bowl.
5. Take the apple diced pieces and put it in the oatmeal mix.
6.Then, sprinkle the cinnamon and chopped onions onto oatmeal mix.
7. Mix all together, and taste. If you want more sweetness, add the aguava nectar and mix.
9. Eat & enjoy!
